Throw Back Thursday

It's that time of the week again!  This throw back picture means a lot to me.  This picture was taken for work as a part of the May/June 2012 edition of the C Magazine to help promote careers in Agriculture and CHS.  I was so honored to be a part of this magazine and share a little about my journey in Agriculture.  I just recently celebrated 10 years at M&M Cooperative and although my job doesn't define who I am, it has been an honor to be a part of the M&M Cooperative/CHS family and I really enjoy what I do and the people I work with!

The other reason this picture is so important to me is that it was taken just a few weeks before I started running and has been a great reminder of how this last year has been such a blessing.  It still had it's struggles (which they all do),
but God has been faithful to help me restore my health and for that I am grateful!

Progress may be slow, BUT it's still progress!!!

Our First Family Picture

It's throw back Thursday time!  Here's our first family picture 6 weeks after Miss Kylee was born, 6 1/2 years ago (and 30+ pounds ago).  Next to receiving Jesus as my savior and marrying my best friend, becoming a mom was definitely the next best day of my life.  Looking back at these pictures reminds me of the incredible journey this has been both physically, spiritually and emotionally!

God is SO good!!!

Throw Back Thursday

Prom my senior year (sorry it's not a very good picture) and to top that, this picture was just a month before this gorgeous man asked me to spend the rest of my life with him!  What a journey!!!

Throw Back Thursday

Welcome to another beautiful Thursday!  Here's another fun picture...  Baton twirling was another big part of my childhood.  My parents were so great to let us try so many different activities.  I really enjoyed baton twirling.  The lessons every two weeks, competitions, practices, costumes, half time performances, etc.  Once I got to junior high and high school though it became too much for my schedule so I had to make some choices between volleyball, twirling and 4-H so unfortunately I had to give up twirling.

Throw Back Thursday 2/21/13

Showing steers in 4-H was such a huge part of my childhood and it was definitely the beginning of my passion for agriculture!  I always enjoyed the 4-H and FFA programs.  Although today I'm not directly involved with Agriculture, I still enjoy working in it indirectly every day!  There's something very special about this industry and the people in it!

Throw Back Thursday 2/14/13

Happy Valentines Day!  We are enjoying a dance party as a family tonight and planning on having a wonderful time!  Being it's the day of love, I thought it fitting to share a picture of my very first date with my husband.  This picture was taken 16 years ago.  It's hard to believe how much we've both changed and grown together!  Our precious daughter looked at this picture and giggled!  God is SO good!  I love you Joshua!

Throw Back Thursday 1/31/13

Welcome to 'Throw Back Thursday.'  A time when I will share some pictures of my past.  Everything from baby pictures, to proms, 4-H pictures, school pictures, wedding pictures, and just pictures from day to day life!  It can be such a blessing to look back and reflect on the journey that God's taken us through!  Thank you Pastor Wyatt for reminding us to take the time to look back on our past and reflect on just how good God is!

Here's the first 'Throw Back Thursday' picture.  I'm a year old in the picture below.  I had chubby cheeks early on!  I hope you enjoy this journey down memory lane with me and I encourage you to do the same.  Going back to your history can be so encouraging to reflect on what God's done in our lives!

One Year Old

Blessings,

Krystal
